Ever since the first time I drove, I knew that I loved driving. Although I like the thrill of acceleration, I like to drive very cautiously. There is one road in particular that I really like to drive called Tantalus Drive. It is a winding road, going up a mountain, filled with great scenery and a great look out once you get to the top.
The view is great at any time of day, but the one fault to the lookout is that it tends to rain more frequently than some other parts of the island. To the driver it can be a exciting road without going fast at all because of all the turns and the narrow lanes. Driving on that road get me to tune everything out in my life besides the task to driving. It makes me feel relaxed yet at the same time exhilarated. I have many memories from being on that road with friends or even on my own and that’s what makes it my favorite spot in Hawaii.
